Club case studies

Club Case studies

A wide range of models exist for the operation of competition and fitness swimming programs in facilities. Some venues employ coaches and administer squad programs, where others require the Club to be the employer and the squad administrator. There is also the model where the rights to coaching are tendered for a specified term and the squads are administered by the coach. All of these models can be successful in generating a well-supported squad program and often the quality and continuity of the program is dependent on the partnership and effort of the Club volunteers, the coach and the facility management. Where all parties work together towards good community and commercial outcomes, the best results are created.

Some examples where these different models are applied are described in the case studies below.
