Ticket Information

Online ticket sales for the 2011 Australian Short Course Swimming Championships are NOW CLOSED.

All ticket types can be purchased at the event from the Swimming Australia ticketing booth at the venue during all competition sessions. Please note that tickets purchased at the venue are only available for the current session and future sessions cannot be purchased in advance.

Entry to the Relay Selection Trials for the World Championships Team will be open to the public for a gold coin donation to the Ian Thorpe Fountain for Youth charity.

Pre-meet Training

Due to increased demand, an additional pre-meet training period will be provided on Thursday 30 June during the World Championship Team relay trial.

Please note that the time trial will take place in the competition pool from 10.00am, and all swimmers will be asked to vacate the main competition pool from 9.45am to accommodate this. Swimmers will be able to continue their session in the dive/utility pool during this period.

Competition Times

Heats commence at 9.00am
Note: All Heats are to be swum in 10 lanes

Finals commence at 5.00pm
Note: All Finals are to be swum in 8 lanes

Please note: Gates open for spectators 1.5 hours prior to competition commencing

Parking and Public Transport

Public transport operates to/from the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre from various locations. A train station is located approximately 300m from the pool and runs into the City Centre, while buses run every 15mins to Glenelg from a bus station located out the front of the pool.

Public Transport Options

If required, parking is available in the multi-story parking facility located next to the aquatic centre. Parking in the multi-story car park can be accessed via Milham Street.
