The Dolphins for the 2018 Commonwealth Games is made up of 49 able-bodied swimmers and 21 Para-sport athletes.
Queensland dominated team selection with (40) athletes, followed by NSW (10), Victoria (9), WA (6) and SA (5).
There are 3 sets of siblings; sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell; sister-brother combination Emma and David McKeon and sisters Kaylee and Taylor McKeown.
There is even a father-daughter duo on the team with breaststroker Georgia Bohl and her father team coach Michael Bohl both selected.
Ron and Susie McKeon (nee Woodhouse); parents of Emma and David McKeon PLUS coach Michael Bohl, father of Georgia Bohl were all on the 1982 Commonwealth Games Swim team in Brisbane.
The youngest member of the team is 13-year-old Jasmine Greenwood (Para Sport).
While the oldest members of the team are Holly Barratt and Matt Levy (Para Sport) 31.
There are nine members on the current team that won gold in Glasgow 2014!
At the Commonwealth Games we are allowed to have 3 swimmers per event.
In 2014 we got a clean sweep of the podium in 4 different events! That means Australia finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd
