Georgina Hope Foundation Swimmer Support Scheme (GHFSS)

The Georgina Hope Foundation Swimmers Support Scheme has been established through the generosity of the Georgina Hope Foundation to provide funding to support elite swimmers in their training and competition environments, to assist them in pursuing educational opportunities, and to provide relief in cases of hardship or misadventure.

dAIS - Athlete Grant

The Australian Government recognises the critical importance of investing in our current and future champions. The Australian Sports Commission invest directly into National Sporting Organisations to fund the activities of the sport and invest directly into eligible athletes through the dAIS scheme so they can focus on training in preparation for representing Australia.

Swimming Australia’s Personal Excellence Grants

Swimming Australia offers Australia’s Winning Edge (AWE) categorised athletes Personal Excellence Grants via nomination by a Personal Excellence Advisor. Funding outcomes are assessed by the Swimming Australia Personal Excellence Coordinator. Requests for funding are invited in the areas of Dual Career (professional) or Sport/Life (personal) development. Please contact your state based Personal Excellence Advisor for assistance in Dual Career and Sport/Life planning. The grants are open for the nomination of any Australia’s Winning Edge (AWE) categorised athlete by themselves, their parents, family, friends and teammates, teachers, employers or Personal Excellence Advisors.
