Peaty to lead Great Britain

Olympic Gold medallist Adam Peaty headlines a contingent of sprint stars set to lead the British Swimming team at December’s World Short Course Championships in Melbourne.

Peaty is joined in the 11 strong GB squad by fellow Gold medallists Anna Hopkin and Tom Dean, as well as one of international swimming’s premier sprinters Ben Proud, fresh from his historic triple crown of World Championship, Commonwealth Games and European 50m Freestyle titles across 2022.

Dual Tokyo medallist Luke Greenbank was also named in the squad alongside Lewis Burras, the World Championship medallist who calls Australia home, training under long time coach Zoe Baker at the Peel Aquatic Club in Western Australia.

The 16th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) will run from December 13-18 at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
