Achievements
Since making her first Dolphins’ national team in 2016, Tasmanian-born Titmus has no doubt made her presence felt on swimming’s world stage. Representing Australia at her international long course debut – the 2017 World Championships – Titmus claimed a bronze medal in the Women’s 4x200m Freestyle Relay and placed fourth in the Women’s 400m Freestyle. The following year in 2018 – and at just 18 years of age – she smashed her 400m freestyle PB and in the process, broke the world record at the World Short Course Championships in Hangzhou. 400m Freestyle World Champion, Titmus recently set three new Commonwealth Records and a World Record at the 2019 World Championships. Earning the nickname, ‘The Terminator’, Titmus trains at St Peters Western under renown coach, Dean Boxall.
