Achievements

Based on the Sunshine Coast under the guidance of coach Nathan Doyle, Braeden Jason secured three international golds medal in 2018 – finishing first in the Men’s 400m Freestyle (S13), the Men's 50m Freestyle (S13) and the Men's 100m Butterfly (S13) at the Para Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Cairns. The Rio Paralympian, who was born with cone dystrophy – a degenerative hereditary disease which has resulted in him having ten per cent vision – also competed at the 2015 IPC World Championships. His brother Nathan, who was also born with the same disease, is also an elite swimmer and has made numerous development squads.
