Achievements
Cameron McEvoy has amassed an impressive number of medals throughout his career, which began when he broke onto the international swimming scene in 2011 at the Junior World Championships. He qualified for his first Olympics at 17 years old in 2012 and again in 2016 in Rio where he won a bronze in the 4x100m freestyle relay. In 2016 he did what no other Australian male has done before and won the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle national titles. There he recorded 47.04 in the 100m freestyle, an Australian Record that still stands. Most recently he was a member of the 4x100m freestyle relay team who won bronze and at the 2019 World Championships. In 2021, McEvoy is off to his third Olympic games.
