Achievements

A Melbourne Torpedoes athlete and a product of Victoria, Getson (S14) began swimming at the age of five alongside her twin brother, Patrick. Forming a strong connection to the sport – via community spirit and the discipline – Getson decided to train seriously for competitions in 2014. Her hard work paid off when she was qualified for her first Australian team – the 2018 Para Pan Pacs. At her debut meet she took home gold as part of the S14 4x100m mixed freestyle relay team, alongside Liam Schluter, Daniel Fox and Taylor Corry.
