Achievements

When Horton claimed Olympic gold in the Men’s 400m Freestyle at the Rio 2016 Olympics, he became only the fourth Australian male to do so. Two years later at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, the Victorian once again won gold in the 400m freestyle and recorded gold in the Men’s 4x200m Freestyle Relay. The relay team, comprising of Alex Graham, Kyle Chalmers and Elijah Winnington, also set a new Commonwealth Games Record of 7:05.97.
