Achievements

Bursting onto the international swimming scene at 16-years-old, Crothers broke the world record for the Men’s 100m Freestyle (S9) and won gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In the same year, Crother’s also competed at the Para Pan Pacs and notched up three gold medals and one silver in an impressive meeting. Qualifying for his first Paralympics, the Yeronga Park product raced in four events and made it all the way to the final in each discipline. Most recently, in front of a home crowd, the 21-year-old nabbed another three gold medals in Cairns at the 2018 Para Pan Pacs. Crothers is also a youth ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy League.
