Event Details


The 2020 Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Championships is an important pathway event for Australian swimming. The event will provide the opportunity for clubs around Australia to battle it out for bragging rights in the pool, with Australian Champion titles awarded in all events.

Swimming Australia is proud to be heading to Perth's home of swimming HBF Stadium and wishes to advise that this event, will be staged in the outdoor 10 lane pool. As 10 lanes will be used, two visitors can progress through to each final. 

In line with the dynamic nature of this event, heats will be swum combined with three finals for each event to be swum in the following order:


  • 18 / 19 years
  • 20 / 21 years
  • Open


  • 17 / 18 years
  • 19 / 20 years
  • Open

Multi-class swimmers are advised that open multi-class events will be staged in conjunction with the age multi-class events, on the final three days of the 2020 Hancock Prospecting Australian Age Swimming Championships.
