The 2021 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships will be held at the Oz Ski Resort Coolum Beach on 13 & 14 March 2021.
Attendees are advised that this is a COVID safe event and all patrons must either hold an accreditation pass, or scan in using the QR system onsite. For more information on the event, check the competitors tab below, or use the links provided.
Swimming Australia is pleased to provide prize money to the first ten swimmers to cross the line in the 10km events. The prize money will be allocated as follows:
1st place: $3,000
2nd place: $2,000
3rd place: $1,500
4th place: $1,000
5th place: $800
6th place: $600
7th place: $500
8th place: $400
9th place: $200
10th place: $100
The Mooloolaba Triathlon will be staged from 12 - 14 March 2021. Organisers have advised that to facilitate the running of the event there will be road closures in place from Tuesday 9 - Sunday 14 March 2021.
Due to the cycle leg the Sunshine Coast Motorway will have closures in place on Sunday 14 March 2021. Northbound traffic from Maroochydore (Kawana) to Coolum Beach are advised that there will be major delays on David Low Way, the preferred alternate route is the Bruce Highway.
