Last night at the 2019 CEO Magazine Australian Executive of the Year Awards ceremony in Melbourne, Mrs Rinehart was presented with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award recognises Mrs Rinehart’s many decades of hard work and dedication in turning Hancock Prospecting around from a company that was in dire financial straits into one that is one of the most successful private companies in Australia’s history.
She is the executive chairman of Roy hill and S. Kidman & co. while she is also the founder of Australians for Northern Development and Economic Vision (ANDEV), National Mining and Related Industries Day, and National Agriculture and Related Industries Day.
She is the author of several books, including 'Northern Australia and Then Some' and 'From Red Tape to Red Carpet', while she was also awarded the Energy and Resources Executive of the Year award.
Mrs Rinehart was joined on the night by Olympic swimmers, synchronised swimmers, rowers and volleyballers as well as her daughter, loyal staff and friends, including ones who flew from Perth for the occasion.
