Swimming Australia, in collaboration with its technical partner arena, is proud to unveil its inaugural Dolphins fan range – allowing every Australian to pull on the green and gold in 2020.
Replicating what the Dolphins swim team will don in the lead up to next year’s Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, swimmers can purchase everything from bathers, hoodies, backpacks, water bottles and towels.
Manufactured by world renown swimwear producer arena and made from the highest quality materials, each piece features the Australian Dolphins logo and has comfort, usability and longevity at its core.
Swimming Australia CEO Leigh Russell said she was delighted to launch the new fan range ahead of such an important year in swimming.
“We’re really thrilled to release our inaugural Dolphins swim team fan range on the eve of an Olympic and Paralympic year,” Russell said.
“This is the first time we’ve been able to create a replica merchandise line and we’re hoping all Australian swimmers will be inspired each time they pull on the same apparel as our elite athletes – their heroes.
“We want fans to show their true colours and support our Dolphins – just like any other team or sporting code – so we’d love to see the Dolphins brand become more visible at our events, in the crowd and on pool decks around the country.
“I’d also like to thank arena for their support and collaboration on this range, without their input and investment, this couldn’t be possible.”
“We are proud of the launch of this new collection as we start building towards the most important sporting event in the world in Tokyo 2020,” said Morten Christiansen, arena Australia.
“The line features completely new graphics and brighter colours for swimmers to test themselves in the pool like their idols, or simply to cheer them on during the excitement of the race by lighting up the terraces with the colours of their favourite team.
“Since the beginning of the collaboration in 2017, arena and Swimming Australia have worked closely together towards the common goal of promoting and growing swimming in Australia through a series of joint marketing and commercial activities.
“In order to support athletes in and out of the water, arena has designed a unique collection, creating replicas for those who would like to experience the emotions of the Dolphins themselves.
“The products represent the ultimate in terms of design and materials, and we hope they will enjoy popular acclaim among the fans of the Dolphins, one of the strongest teams in the world with a long history of success."
Fans will have the chance to purchase the range at all events in the lead up to the Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Trials in Adelaide in June, as well via the online store at: arenaswimming.com.au.
