Wilson

Bio

Hailing from South-West Queensland, Madison Wilson was born in Roma far from any body of water. Having moved to Yeppoon at a young age, Wilson grew up swimming with her local club where she discovered that she clearly had a talent for the sport. Her talent was first recognised by Swimming Australia when Wilson made her debut at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Since Madi Wilson’s discovery as a world-class swimmer she has not failed to impress. Wilson achieved a gold medal during both of her Olympic trips to Rio and Tokyo for the 4x100m freestyle.

Madi’s winning ways have only continued on as her career progresses as she was a part of the relay teams responsible for breaking the world records in the 2022 World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
