Butterfly and freestyle athlete, Matt Temple has been making waves with his presence in the pool since his first introduction to the national team at the World Championships in 2019. What better way to start a professional career than with a gold medal at your very first hit out. Temple swam the butterfly leg in the 4x100m mixed medley and evidently achieved highly alongside his teammates in Korea.

From Korea to Tokyo in 2020, the medals kept on coming with each of Temple’s performances over the year. Pulling in a great 2 bronze medals during his time at the Olympics. Fast forward 2 years to Temple’s performances throughout 2022. It was arguably some of his greatest efforts whilst in the pool. In this year alone Matt has accumulated a total of 6 medals consisting of 2 gold’s and 4 silver’s across both the World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
