Bio

Meg Harris, OAM, at just 20 years of age is already a world record holder! You may recognise her by her competition in the 4x100m freestyle relay where Harris alongside her teammates was able to break the existing record and walk away with a Gold medal around her neck.

However, she didn’t just stop here in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Meg once again found herself standing on the podium. This time for a bronze medal in the 4x200m freestyle. Since then Harris has only continued to display her incredible swimming ability by winning another two gold medals, a silver and a bronze at the most recent Budapest world championships.

Meg is also partially deaf in both ears and continues to inspire kids like her to pursue their goals.

To achieve as Meg Harris has at such a young age is an incredible accolade and is certainly one of the Aussie athletes to watch in the future.
