Australian Dolphin, Emma McKeon, has designed a 'Free and Fly Aerobic Swim Set' for iSwim, fresh from her medal haul in Gwangju at the World Championships.
Emma's set is designed for intermediate swimmers that want to build their aerobic fitness and combines her two favourite strokes, freestyle and butterfly. Filmed at her training pool at Griffith University, Emma demonstrates the simple set with easy to follow instructions.
From an early age Emma was in the water. She comes from swimming royalty with father Ron McKeon representing Australia at the 1980 and 1984 Olympics, Uncle, Rob Woodhouse representing Australia at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics and competed alongside her brother David McKeon at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. You could say swimming is in the blood.
"I just love being in the water. I was a water baby and we did everything around the water as a family," said McKeon. "I got into competitive swimming as I love to race."
25-year-old McKeon has won more than 30 international medals and set numerous World and Commonwealth Records since she began competing for Australia. Emma recently competed at the FINA World Championships in Gwangju and clocked up another six World Championships medals to add to her tally.
