Jenna Forrester has been an international swimmer since as young as 15 where she competed at the Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in 2018. Forrester, who was already familiar with the atmosphere of international competition, first made her debut for the Australian Dolphins swim team at the 2022 Budapest World Championships where she competed in the 400m medley. Forrester swam a time of 4:42.39 and her efforts here allowed for her to take part in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham following the championships. It was at the Commonwealth Games that Forrester bettered her time for the 400m medley, this time swimming a 4:41.80.
