Sam Short has burst onto the Dolphins Swimming team in an impressive display of effort. His hardworking attitude across the long distances has done well to give him a great reputation amongst the swimming community. At 19 years of age Short has already done well to muscle his way onto the team filled with some of Australia’s greatest athletes.
Locking down a silver medal for the 4x200m freestyle relay in his performance in Budapest was a great way to see Short set the standard that he expects of himself.
At the Birmingham Commonwealth Games he once again raised the bar for himself when he knocked down a gold medal in the 1500m freestyle and a silver in the 400m freestyle.
