Swimming Australia is the peak governing body for swimming with nearly 1,000 clubs and 90,000 registered members nationally. Swimming is unique as it is a life-skill, a sport and a recreation. Swimming Australia’s vision is to create a nation of swimmers admired by the world. Striving towards this vision every day through inspiring Australians to be the best swimmer they can be – from grass roots community participation through to elite level swimmers representing our country and themselves on the global stage.

TODAY officially marks 80 Days to go to the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. 🇫🇷🌎 We continue to mark Paris’ Olympic countdown with celebrated photographer Delly Carr who has spent a lifetime redefining and reimagining Australia’s most successful Olympic sport – swimming. Today we start with the breakout performance of world record holder Kaylee McKeown in Tokyo, who finished the meet with gold medals in the 100m, 200m backstroke and the 4x100m mixed medley relay, through to the now retired Mack Horton who won Australia’s first medal of the Rio Games in the men’s 400m freestyle through to a special moment captured between national treasure Dawn Fraser and Cate Campbell – these are moments from inside and outside of the pool. @olympics | @dolphinsaus | @swimmingaustralia 📸 @delly.thephotographer
