Through the year, targeted athletes, coaches and/or support staff in the Paralympic pathway may be selected to participate in international Para Swimming World Series events. The purpose of participation in international Para Swimming World Series events is to gain valuable experience travelling and racing overseas prior to debut at the World Championships or Paralympic Games. In some cases international classification may be aligned to the event. Eligible athletes, coaches and support staff will be notified by Paralympic Program management staff if an appropriate opportunity is available.
